January 10/13

REVIEW your WWI packets for our test on Tuesday (14th) and Wednesday (15th). I handed out a study guide (posted below) You will also turn your packets in when you take the test :) 


WW1: REVIEW (highlight the following ideas in your notes, and study them)
1.    The 4 causes of WW1 & why WW1 started
2.    Know why and when the US entered WW1
3.    Know the different alliances and who was on what side
4.    Know some example of: weapons, diseases, anti-immigrant hysteria,
5.    How did the US prepare for WW1?
6.    What country gave up and when?
7.    Know the legacy of WWI: ie. total killed in WW1, what countries had the highest death totals, American death total
8.    Know these things about Wilson: his thoughts on the war, why he entered the war, what are his 14 points, what is the League of Nations, weaknesses of the Treaty of Versailles
9.    How or why does WW1 affect us today?
10.Know the Map of Europe/Nations involved in WW1
11.Make sure your packet is complete (1. Notes in class 2. Learning Targets (I will check to see that you highlighted your notes and will assume you studied them)
