September 6/9

Journal #4:
1.List as many things as you can that you associate with 9/11
2.Where did you learn/hear this information?
3. What is one question you have about what happened?

In Class: Today we began our case study of September 11, 2001.  We looked at the context/causes and what occurred on the actual day.  You will be taking on the role of a Historian by conducting an interview with someone who remembers the events of that day
(YOU WILL RECORD THE INTERVIEW AND BRING IT TO NEXT CLASS WITH HEADPHONES!)
I'll attach some sample questions that you may ask.  You need to have a minimum of THREE original questions.

Homework: Finish your interviews and have them ready to go next class!

sample questions:

1.     How old were you on September 11, 2001?
2.     Where were you that morning?
3.     How did you first hear about the what happened (or was happening) that day?
4.     Tell me what you experienced:
5.     What was your initial reaction?
6.     Was there anyone you phoned or contacted? Why did you choose that person?
7.     Did you have any immediate concerns about your own safety?
8.     What feelings or emotions do you remember experiencing on that day or subsequent days?
9.     Did you notice any differences in the way strangers treated one another?
10.  Did this tragedy change you in anyway? Why or why not?
