Journal:

Imagine if…
You are in charge of a large factory. Your factory building has recently been bombed by a competitors factory and many of your employees have been killed. You have been asked to address the people of the town and those who have lost loved ones in the disaster.
What do you say???

In Class: Today I introduced CORNELL STYLE NOTES; Your essential question of the day was 'Is the Civil War inevitable?'  As we went through the PowerPoint your notes should have been answering the essential question.  We also talked about the Gettysburg Address and its significance at the time as well as today (purple page in packet).  You answered the corresponding questions on the back.

Homework: If you weren't able to finish the Gettysburg Address questions, please make sure they are finished by next class period!
