Today is your final in US History! 

I can't believe this year has already come to a close.  This has been an awesome year in large part due to you :) 

I hope that you have a fantastic summer.... remember who you are and be safe! 

I will miss you all---- Have a great year next year

Today was another work day!!!!

You had the entire class period with your groups to finalize your projects! Today was the last day to work on them--- if you did not finish you must do so at home :)

Today in class we finished up The Help and had our socratic seminar :)

We also started on your final projects.... if you were absent next class we will be working on them as well so I will get you filled in next week!

Today we finished up The Help! Next class period you will be turning your packets in and we will have a discussion about the movie :)

Journal: Describe a time when you were left out of a group or isolated

In Class: Today you turned in your civil rights demonstration poster!!!! We finished up the Civil Rights movement discussing/comparing MLK to Malcolm X and the effects of the Civil Rights movement on America; we also watched more of The Help.

Homework: Make sure that your packets are all filled out (with the exception of the Help socratic seminar page) and Learning Target guide is filled out through day 4!
